EXMET filtration media consists of layers of slit
and expanded aluminum. Inner layers are flat or corrugated grids of
expanded aluminum. Face grids are heavy expanded aluminum. Frame is
aluminum channel.
Applications
This type of panel
pre-filter is particularly suitable in applications where frequent
servicing and rough handling may occur. Low resistance and heavy
duty construction make the EXMET an excellent large particle filter
where ease of cleaning is necessary. Frequent washings do not affect
the media. EXMET filters are commonly used in air handling units and
ahead of bag filter banks where extended media filters offer too
much pressure drop. Another common application for this filter type
would be as a grease filter.
